WHO we are
The Young Aviators Club of Africa (YACA) is a premier African Aviation Club for young people with the purpose of nurturing and developing Africa’s next Generation of aviation professionals through mentorship, creating interest in Science, Technology, Engeneering and Mathematics (STEM).
The club, founded and headquartered in Nairobi Kenya creates interest in aviation among the youth by involving them in activities that spark their imagination, instil discipline, encourage hard work and while at it have lots of fun, play and adventure under a club setup.

To create interest among the youth by using aviation’s motivational power to thrill, stimulate and encourage them to set, commit and achieve their goals in education and personal development.
Bring together youth interested in aviation and through mentorship nurture the dream and spun of aviation by;
- Priming them for entry into the aviation industry to ensure continued availability of trained and experienced aviation professionals.
- Inculcate a culture of safe operations and professional maintenance, adhering to approved set standard procedure.
- Provide information on aviation career paths and seek mentorship programmes in the industry.
- Promote good citizenship by instilling good national values and being ambassadors of peace.

Our Strategic Approach
Our model harnesses the power of long-term, personal relationships to help young people succeed. We partner with schools and institutions, where a majority of them served will be first-generation aviation professionals. Each year, we recruit a number of volunteers who commit to mentor a number of students for a period of time.
YACA highlights its suite of evidence-based programs that have been proven to change young people’s attitudes and behavior towards building essential frameworks that will help establish a well defined and purposeful path in building their careers through education and practical training in field work.
We are working to establish an effective, comprehensive and national career guidance strategy with families, schools and communities to help young professionals be effective and relevant people the aviation industry.
